They almost lost the school because students fought monsters, but that's only the partial reason she sided with MG. Ken has asked for her help so that he can hide from a fight. Lizzie faces Hope's body, though unaware it's actually Aurora, claiming she's making a mistake. Lizzie is concerned and asked how their father is doing given he has lost his position as headmaster. In her defense, the latter part turned out okay as they've returned Landon from the prison world. He didn't think she had it in her, and that makes two of them. Likewise, the same thing is true with Lizzie. With Hope momentarily out of the way, she uses her magic to remove the dark object and release Aurora. Aurora offers her a choice: to stop now and risk losing everything or keep going and to help her raise a better god and see it through to the end. MG, however, tells her no. For all he'll know they walked out to the Old Mill to talk. The ritual will happen later this evening. They are at first unaware of the meaning of the statement, but eventually realize they have been placed into a game when the two die crossing the road, but are resurrected. This may have merely been a side effect of her transformation into a Heretic, but it was actually just what the character needed to have a more nuanced and fulfilling journey in Legacies. As much as she'd love to get lost in a memory, she needs some translation help because she's not a polyglot. At the end of the day, Lizzie plans to tell MG how she feels about him, but witnesses him and Alyssa kissing after Alyssa apologizes to him. Lizzie, however, was looking for Josie who was acting weird and eventually bailed on the performance. This affects Lizzie and she begins a quest of showing the students who she truly is by writing and delivering her own eulogy, something MG was meant to deliver. Her family would be spelled to sleep until Malivore was destroyed and, as an incentive, Ken promised a boon to whoever defeated Malivore and woke them up. She is one of the twin daughters of Alaric Saltzman and Josette Laughlin, the others being Josie Saltzman. Hope apologizes to her and Josie for running out on them. There's only so much loss he can take. Lizzie goes through the Haunted Tunnel finding a bloody handprint. She tries to comfort her and learns that her sister is missing, that someone took her. She might always be this unpredictable and prone to saying the wrong things, but she never allowed herself to want something that was good for her because she didn't think she deserved it. Alyssa is unable to provide further insight, however, and is murdered by Josie. Hope calls her bluff, believing that therapy is tricky, because knowing what you need to do and going through with it are two different things. On February 3, 2021, the series was renewed for a fourth season, which premiered on October 14, 2021. They grew up together and have gone to (and currently go to) the Salvatore Boarding School for the Young & Gifted for most of their lives.
